Jami has a bachelor's degree in human development and family studies from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas, and a master's degree in counseling from West Texas A&M University in Canyon, Texas. She is a licensed professional counselor and has been counseling since 2006.

Jami's life experiences and faith in God have led her to believe all people are capable of changing unhealthy thinking and behaviors that cause them and/or others pain. She also believes people can learn to live peacefully with themselves and with others.

Her greatest desire in working with others is to help them reach their God-given potential and find peace in their lives.
